Businesses operating in and around the Sheffield region will be gathering on Wednesday 24 October for Showcase Sheffield at Pond’s Forge in the city centre.
The B2B exhibition will open its doors at 9.30am and run to 4pm, with a wide range of industries represented on stands and by delegates.
Organised by Sheffield Chamber of Commerce, the expo offers the opportunity to meet suppliers and network with other businesses – including key decision makers and company owners – to share knowledge and best practice.
Having attended the inaugural event last October (Connect Sheffield), members of the Simm team will once again be taking a stand to meet existing and potential new customers and chat through the latest products, services and innovations we have to offer.
This includes everything from the latest Atlas Copco variable speed drive (VSD and VSD+) air compressors to the products and services provided by our recently expanded Pneumatics Department. As always, our focus is on helping customers reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint.
Workshops and discussions this year include:
- Support Innovation – a workshop to develop your business with Sheffield Hallam University
- Grow: Global Trade – advice on how to access new markets from Lesley Batchelor OBE, Director General of the Institute of Export & International Trade
- Connect: China – explore investment opportunities with Jerry Cheung, Managing Director of New Era Development (UK) Ltd and Chris Cotton, Senior Director of China-Britain Business Council
The event is free for delegates to attend, simply visit https://expo.scci.org.uk/ and register your details.
